Long Day Care
Our centre cares for children from 6 weeks to school age. Hours are 7.30am and 5.30pm with flexible pick-up and drop-off times. Children can be enrolled up to five days per week. Hot lunches and healthy snacks are provided and we will cater for special dietary needs.
Quality Care
All our centres operate under the National Quality Framework and Regulations. Each one has been rated as ‘Meeting’ the National Quality Standard. You can view these ratings on the ACECQA website.
Regular information evenings and special events offer parents opportunities to provide feedback and become involved with centre activities and programs.
Quality staff to child ratios
Our long day care centre employs Early Childhood teachers and trained staff with qualifications including Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. The minimum staff to child ratios in our centres are:

Learning through play

Following the Early Years Learning Framework, educational programs are developed by talking to families and observing children's needs and interests.

Daily indoor and outdoor activities motivate, stimulate, challenge and extend the children’s skills.

Positive social interaction, confidence, independence and skills essential for starting school, are the focus for our 3-5 year olds.

Council’s Long Day Care centre is Australian Government approved. Depending on your family circumstances you may be able to claim Child Care Subsidy (CCS). Visit the Services Australia website for more information on assistance with fees.
Placement in Long Day Care
Most long day care places are offered in November or December for the following January.
However, if additional places become available, offers are made to the next eligible family on the waiting list. We follow the government's recommended priority of access guidelines. Places may be also available throughout the year.

Your Child’s Immunisation History
All child care services need a copy of each child’s Immunisation History Statement or Immunisation Medical Exemption form.
