Easter Long Weekend - Office Closures And Changes To Services

Council Administration Offices at Coonabarabran and Coolah, including Service NSW, will be closed on Friday 18 April 2025 and Monday 21 April 2025 for the Easter public holidays.

Garbage and Recycling Services

All garbage and/or recycling bins that are due to be emptied when public holidays fall will be collected as normal. Please place bins out the night before collection day.

Transfer Stations and Landfill

All Waste Transfer Stations and Coonabarabran Landfill will be closed for the Easter Long Weekend (Friday 18 April 2025 through to Monday 21 April 2025 inclusive) due to the public holidays.

Coonabarabran Visitor Information Centre

The Visitor Information Centre is open throughout the Easter Long Weekend.

Warrumbungle Community Care

The Community Care office in both Coolah and Coonabarabran closed on Friday 18 April 2025 and Monday 21 April 2025 for the Easter public holidays. In home services will continue as required on the public holidays.

Libraries

Opening hours of all branches of the Macquarie Regional Library can be found online at www.mrl.nsw.gov.au.

Children’s Services

All Children’s Services will close on the Easter Public Holidays.
