This is your time to have your say in shaping the future of Warrumbungle Shire!

The Warrumbungle Shire Council is currently reviewing its Community Strategic Plan for 2022-2037 (CSP) to ensure that the plan reflects the changing needs and aspirations of our community. The review process aims to keep the CSP aligned with the values and goals of residents, helping guide future actions and decisions by Council.

Warrumbungle Shire residents are encouraged to have their say and share their vision for the future. Take a few minutes to complete the survey and make your voice heard – your input will directly guide the Shire’s future priorities and decisions.

The Community Strategic Plan is a key document that outlines the community’s priorities and aspirations, guiding all of the Council’s other strategies and plans, including the Delivery Program and Operational Plan. It’s an essential tool for ensuring that the direction of the Shire remains aligned with what matters most to those who live here.

Mayor Kathryn Rindfleish emphasised the importance of community participation stating, “community input is vital, and I invite all community members to participate in shaping the future of our Shire by completing this short survey. Let us know where Council should focus their efforts to make Warrumbungle Shire a great place to live, work, and play.”

Alternatively, paper versions of the survey are available for collection at the Council offices in Coonabarabran and Coolah, as well as from the Community Development Coordinators in each town.

Your feedback is highly valued, and this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the shaping of the Shire’s future.
